How can I fix this? I'm trying to make a table with rounded edges, but the end cap in radiant results in this see-through thing.

Try just taking a simple patch mesh and placing it over the empty area.

I just got home from work, so I'll give that a shot. Thanks for helping out though - I've never gotten very far into JA editing, so I expect to have many more questions to annoy you with. :p

I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the simple patch mesh once it's made - is the idea to vertex edit it into a curve?

edit - what I mean is that the patch mesh isn't curved, it's just a rectangle.

Step1: Select patch mesh.
Step2: Press "v"
Step3: Notice the dots. Now you can mold and shape the thing.
Step4: Play around with the patch mesh to fit the table's curved shape.
