I reinstalled GTKRadiant 1.5.0 for ****s 'n giggles, and it all works except for most of the textures. It seems that just about 75% of all the textures show up as the red and black checkered 'shader image missing' texture, including caulk and noclip textures, all that good stuff. Help?

You need to get an old Ravensoft JA game pack. From the gtk 1.4.0 era.

Install GTK 1.40, it should solve the textures issue.

ok well the textures work and everything but there's one texture that seems to be missing for some reason, and I want to use it. It's that hanging vine texture from Yavin, and it simply isn't in my textures list. How can I get it back?

Are you mapping for Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy? All the textures from JO (like the one you're referring to) are unfortunately not available for JA.

JA. I've seen JA levels using that texture and I swear to god I've used it myself in past JA editing.

If this is indeed the texture you're looking for, then I'm positive, it's not available for JA. Anyway there's a fairly simple solution to your problem:
download this little pack , and place it in your base folder. Launch radiant then load yavin textures and look for 'jo_vines_alpha'.

I never liked those vines. Well, not the way Raven used them.
