greetings and a little question

Hello there... I´m a fan of jedi outcast and I admire a lot those great artists who creates all kinds of mods for this game and academy... you made the game a new experience...

The question I have is if there is possible to change luke skywalker skin, I don`t mean to use a skin for the player, but for ingame singlepayer luke.
I don´t really like the looks of skywalker ingame, looks pretty dumb, and I have downloaded a couple of skins allround wich looks cool... so I was wondering if maybe can it be possible to apply these skins to the character.

Well.. thanks a lot !

An easy way, if I remember correctly, is to make a simple mod. In your Gamedata/base folder, you should notice several .pk3 files named "assets". Open them with this program (its called Pakscape): http://files.filefront.com/PakScapeexe/;1323402;/fileinfo.html

Now, what you are looking for is a folder called ext_data. I believe it's in the assets0.pk3 in your /base directory. Now copy that folder and put it somewhere on your desktop for convenience.

Inside the ext_data folder is a file named npcs.cfg. It is really just a .txt file so you can open it with your favorite text editor. Make a copy of this file.

Look for Luke's NPC information and change the "playerModel" to the one given by your new skin. Make a new .pk3 file through Pakscape with your new npcs.cfg file. The directory of your new .pk3 file should go like this:

ext_data/npcs.cfg

and place that new .pk3 under your Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base directory. Should work if your new skin has the necessary files for the game to recognize it.
