Well lets see where to start. I've been editing with ZED for some time and have tinkered with GTK Radiant. Well recently i re-installed GTK-R and now it won't let me save files. Even to my documents folder it won't let me save. Currently operating in safe-mode on windows vista, due to an issue on main OS. Any help would be great.

I'm assuming you're using GTKRadiant 1.4? This is an issue with Vista that cannot be resolved. However there is a workaround:

- Go into preferences and change autosave to 1 minute

- Once you see that your map has been autosaved, open up the base/maps folder and copy autosave.map. Rename it into anything you want.

- Now go back into Radiant and open up the renamed copy. Now you'll be able to save this map.

Yeah was perfectly clear and thus far it seems to be working. So lets hope it keeps as such. Its amazing that i find GTK-R to be a fairly easy designer to work with lol.
