Are there any geriatric jedi's like myself out there still doing editing for these games? If there are can you help a brother out by posting any dusty tuts so i can get back into editing?

I have a few problems with the RichDiesal tutorials. Most notably his advice to make everything a detail brush, which is a terrible idea that shows a lack of understanding of the visibility determination algorithm used by the engine.

His tutorials are rather weak in quality. So it's more about the sum of the parts.

It's like getting a driving instructor who has a hard time speaking english, but at the end of the day, you will at least be be driving more or less.

edit: it also seems to be using the JK2Radiant editor instead of GTKradiant. So it's using whatever SOF2 compiler.

I vaguely recall talking to him on LucasForums and him giving bogus reason about why JK2Radiant was better :huh:
