Post your favorite free (legal) mp3s by your favorite bands. The more obscure, the better! I'm looking to increase my collection.

Rustic Overtones- My all-time favorite group. Kind of funk/rock/ska, but they really fit into a category all their own:
- Gas on Skin - From their official site
- Girl Germs - From their official site
- Feast or Famine - From their official site
- Pop Trash - From their official site
- Cherry - From their official site

Kill Hannah- Uh... weird, electronic punk I guess
- Kennedy - From a free promo disc

A Wilhelm Scream- A new punk band that just signed to Nitro but hasn't released anything yet.
- Famous Friends & Fashion Drunks - From nitrorecords.com
- The Rip - From nitrorecords.com

Local H- Post-grunge two-man band
- Hands on the Bible - From amazon.com

Bad Religion- Not at all obscure, but one of my favorite punk bands
- 21st Century (Digital Boy) - From their official site
- Sorrow - From their official site
- American Jesus - From their official site
- Do What You Want - From their official site
- Generator - From their official site
- Supersonic - From their official site
- Can't Stop It - From their official site
- Recipe for Hate - From their official site
- Too Much to Ask - From their official site
- Modern Man - From their official site
- Change of Ideas - From their official site
- Automatic Man - From their official site
- Best for you - From their official site

The Damned- Gothic punk band that's been around since punk began. These mp3s are from albums ranging from 1977-2001, so the style and recording quality changes dramatically
- Democracy - From their official site
- Love Song - From their official site
- Smash it Up - From their official site
- Therapy - From their official site
- New Rose - From their official site

Paranoid Social Club- As described on their site, "psychedelic dirt-rock". A really talented local band from Portland, ME.
- Wasted - From their official site
- Ricochet - From their official site

As Fast As- A pop-rock local band from Portland, ME.
- All These Words - From wcyy.com
- All These Words (ooh-koo-lay-lay remix) From a free promo disc

Well I have no way of actually posting links to MP3's on here, but download these if you even kind of like metal:

Between the Buried and Me - Mordecai
Between the Buried and Me - Aesthetic
Between the Buried and Me - Lost Perfection a) Coulrophobia

EDIT: I just noticed that they have two MP3's in the "media" section of their site (www.betweentheburiedandme.com) but they are off of their old album, which isn't as good as the new one.

CygnusX and Wuss, I love you. Here are some of my favorite record label sites, with tons of free MP3s on them.

Fat Wreck Chords - Dillinger Four, NOFX, Avail, No Use For a Name, etc. Good punk rock.

No Idea Records - Army of Ponch, Radon, Grabass Charlestons, Against Me!, etc. Good hardcore punk rock.

Huge list of music - This guy has compiled free, legal MP3s of every punk/ska band ever. Check it out.

Formula One - One of my favorite bands. Awesome and fast pop-punk. They recently broke up, so they have both of their CDs available for download. Check them out!!

Lookout Records - Operation Ivy, Mr. T Experience, etc. Loaded with MP3s from every good indy band.

Hopeless Records - Mustard Plug, Against All Authority, The Weakerthans, etc. Just great music, from ska to emo to hardcore.

Hope that's enough good stuff to keep you guys going. All you metal-heads should check this stuff out.

Satanic/anarcho/punk/ska. It doesn't get any better. Leftover Crack is also pretty much the same band. Go now!
