Im thinking of buying this. It seems like a good deal, and looking at reviews it kicks some serious butt....but im still not sure...it seems too good to be true..

Yes, they are a fine manufacturer. Don't let pages fool you. Gainward makes some of the best cards, and their website and product labels are horrible. Everything is some Golden Power-Pack Sample Edition or something, and they use lots of exclimation marks. "!!! Gainward GeForce 3 Ti 550 Golden Super Ultra Power Pack Mega Sampler Golden Edition !!!"

Ive been hearing that they can ship underclocked...im a little worried about that.

But all the reviews seem really good, and its really cheap...it sounds too good to be true. Im a little skeptical

...It requires an extra power source... Kinda reminds me of those Voodoo6 boards, you know, the full-length external-powered behemoths, that required their own power supplies.... It scares the crap out of me, really it does...
