Translation - it could do exactly what it did last year and snow; a lot. It would mean a day off school (maybe more) at any rate.

It snowed for about 30 minutes down in the south east earlier today. It was chucking white fluff down... and then stopped. It may have been an explosion at an expanded polystyrene factory.

I'm supposed to get a foot of snow here in nyc. I used to like shoveling....am tired now.

School is giving us off, which, I think, means we've passed the maximum allowable snow days, meaning I don't get St. Patrick's Day off. Which bothers me.....

It's snowing right now! Ok.. it's midnight but the chances of me getting the bus to college tommorow are looking slim. (Don't know why, but the slightest bit of snow and the entire country grinds to a standstill).
