I would assume this means that whatever the person uses to sniff out random addresses, has scanned Massassi?

Mass-mailing worms/viruses nowadays scan address books, HTML files, text files, etc. for e-mail addresses on the computers they infect. Then they use those addresses for the "From" and "To" addresses of the e-mails they send.

Last year I used to get about 10 e-mails a day from random Massassians, and this deluge lasted about two weeks. They all said stuff like "error," so I suspected they were viruses and just deleted them.
