Star Wars: BattleFront announced
(don't know if this was old news or not)
Yikes, it looks damn shibby.

It's featured in the latest PCGamers 'Scoops' section, and is described as a Battlefield: 1942-like Star Wars experiance, and they are anticipating the release of it.

Keep in mind the first one most likely isn't an ingame shot. Although I guess it could be. Eh. Still need to work on the ground textures in the second pic..

Looks nice, but let's hope it doesn't feature stormtroopers jumping off TIEs or E-11s that can shoot down X-Wings.
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

It'll probally be like 1942 (Hell.. The game IS 1942) You can only jump out if you have a parachute, regular guns can damage planes, but not much

Looks good. To me, the screenies look more like paintings (or some other rendition type) than a video game.

I never got BF1942. I dunno if I'll get this one. The only game I really play anymore is SWG, and I cancelled my account last week... I need to resuscribe. haha.
