Single after nearly four years.....Bum.

The subject says it all really - after an almost four year relationship with my girlfriend (also best friend) we've decided to call it quits - we were starting to bicker unnecessarily, and not act like we were a proper couple any more - amicable split but I'm still fairly numb...

...The awkward bit is that we're living together at uni (we share a rented house with four other blokes) for the rest of this year [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Ah well, suppose **** happens from time to time, and eventually it had to happen to me!

Cheers fellas, a good pick me up is always good - shall be going out to the pub tomorrow with some mates to "celebrate" freedom - but it's not exactly what I want...

...Suppose I should look on the bright side though! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Ah that sucks, I'm sorry to hear it, but it sounds to me as if you both did the right thing for one another, and hard though it was, it's commendable, so don't be too low about it, it could have gotten nasty. Keep at it! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Sorry to hear about it.

Actually, relationships where the person decides to move in before marriage tend to go south more often than when the 2 people wait until they are married before they move in... Not trying to imply anything here - just take those words at face value, and remember them in the next relationship you are in.

Good hunting out there!

I'm sorry to hear that. I take it you are trying to maintain a friendship? If so, I think that's great. I could never do it myself. When my ex-girlfriend started dating new guys I kept threatening to kill them. The friendship didn't last for some odd reason.

My advice is to turn your sadness, numbness, or depression (you choose), into something creative. As a matter of fact, I haven't released a map since I was in a major depression back in 2001 I think it was. Good luck.
