There was a game, had Dark Forces type graphics. All I remember is the word "Tri" and that for health you could pick up something like "Monk porridge". And if you played the game on christmas all the characters in the title screen would have like santa hats.. The game had guns and such, bloody game..Can't remember what it is! Help?

Rise of the Triad, or RotT, ROCKS. This is the game that got me into first person shooters.

I just downloaded the shareware and it isn't working [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I get no sound or music..and I can't really see it..it's very dark, is there some brightness adjustment on the game? or do I have to fiddle with my monitors settings?

It was never meant to be the sequel to Wolfenstein, that was Spear of Destiny

RoTT was originally going to use the Wolf3D engine though, but they changed over to Build partway through
