Some of you guys may, or may not, remember me, but I am a frequent visitor here to Massassi.net. My last post here was probably last Sunday, before everything hit the fan.
Last Sunday, me and my wife sat down and watched 28 Days Later, and I don't even remember finishing the movie. Apparently I was struck with a total of 4 seizures during the course of that night (seizures violent enough for me to gnash my tongue to shreds), and sent me to the hospital twice here in High River, then finally once to Calgary. I have hardly any memory this past week of anything that really happened. Last night I was released from the hospital (finally), and sent home until Monday night. That night I go back in to get ready for surgery on my brain. After having a CAT SCAN and an MRI scan, it was determined there's something growing within my brain, which in turn caused my seizures. It will take approxiamately (sp?) a week for the pathogen results to come back and let me know exactly what it is.
So now I get to relax at home until Monday night, where I get to go in for surgery and get this "tumor" removed. It will be a 4-hour surgery, and the recovery time shouldn't be too long, since I do keep myself quite fit and healthy.
So, feel free to wish me luck over the next several days...

Everyday I beat my own previous record for number of consecutive days I've stayed alive.
