So I got bored, and decided that I could install FreeBSD on my laptop. "NO" said FreeBSD as the bootCD repeatedly froze my laptop after reaching the ALi chipset section. "Debian it is" says I, and so I go about re-installing Debian. I've forgotten how crappy it is to unpack all of the packages just for GNOME and KDE to be up and running.
