So I am thinking about buying a swanky new pair of sunnies with my overtime pay.

Any suggestions / horror stories? Currently contemplating a pair of Ray-Bans.

Don't just take any pair because it looks 'cool'. Make sure to try them out first and see if they fit the shape of your head.

What a coincidence. I myself just bought really my first pair of sunglasses this weekend, and I now wear them *all* the time. I slept in them when I was at my friend's house. I wear them in the hallways in school and in the morning before school, and also at lunch. In fact, I'm wearing them right now.

These I just got at the drug store. They are FosterGrant's. They have done me well thus far. Invest in a pair! Or at least get one of these aviator-type glasses. They look absolutely badass!

No one knows more about cool sunglasses then me. I'm a collector ( I had 9 pair at one point, then my brothers took some, silly bastids) I'll have 3 new pair this weekend and I will model off for you guys:P

I have 4 pairs. None of them are exactly what I want, though my newest ones are best. Got them at the local dollar store, making them the cheapest too. What I really want is a pair with blue or black circle lenses.

I tried looking for some online, but couldn't find any sites with good prices. There's too many big name sites asking for $50+.

All my friends tell me I look really dope in sunglasses, BUT I wear glasses already so the whole sunglasses thing doesn't work too well. Grr.

one of my friends lost 3 pairs of 'em in one week, from the day he started going out with someone, to the day the broke up, strange eh?

I just bought a pair of 10 dollar ones at Kohls(sp?) and bent the fames a bit. They work just fine.

I have some FosterGrant ones that are fantastic, but I dont wear them that often.

I also used to have blue tinted shade and orange Bono-style glasses, but they got broken...

Well, my last 2 pairs of sunnies came from the lost and found at work, and I managed to lose both of them. But they werent really worth much... I think if I had an expensive pair I'd look after them [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

make sure they fit your head snug and that the screws holding the flappy things that go over your ears arent loose, coz i have this awesome pair of matrixy shades but they were slightly loose when i bought them for (45 bucks!) but i was like hell these look so cool, but then now they just slide off my face [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

i'm told I can pull off the shades-and-leather-jacket look quite well, this is useful given my complete lack of shades or a leather jacket.

Myer in Chadstone has a reasonable range. I've got a couple pairs for about $50 (the first was stolen).

Don't buy expensive ones unless you're gonna be really careful with them. I got a really nice pair of Moschino sunglasses and lost them in less than a year.

I'm thinking of getting some Oakleys once i start working again this summer.. but i wouldn't suggest them unless you've got cash to burn, and plan on taking very good care of them.

I think I may be sunglass-impared. There is absolutely NO pair of sunglasses I have ever found that seem to fit my face structure. :-/

Just be sure to get ones that fit, look decent, and that you won't lose.
