Hi!
I have a problem, and I HOPE[/i] someone can help... To my left, an ATARI. Further left, an external Scuzzy hard drive containing files I'd like to have on the PC. Problem: Files are more than 1.4 MB big. I managed to copy over a few of these files by Disk with ZIP Compression. Why don't I use Split ZIP? ST-ZIP doesn't support that! Burn it on a CD? I have no external CD Burner for the ATARI nor the cash to buy one. Any way I could connect a Scuzzy to PC? I do have an adapter to connect that kind of plug to a PC. I've connected the External CD to an OLD OLD OLD PC LapTop. Now that one's broken and in the scrap heap. But I do have a 1.4 Ghz High tower, and a 200mhz box. And I have Linux here and there. Any prospects? [http://www.modplug.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif]

by Scuzzy I assume you mean SCSI
can you give us some info on the hard drive?
you should be able to get a PCI SCSI card for pretty cheap (no need to get top of the line)

i thought about this being the anti-sig... or the sig virus... or the sig of your nightmares... but i decided that some painful rhetoric might work instead...
just kidding. ;)

Right... SCSI... I've only heard the name so I didn't know how to spell it... My father says its a one GB hard drive, can't remember the make, but pretty standard...
[edit] Father Details... Normal SCSI, Atari File System, Emulators might be able to read it, Could work with Linux, but he's not going to do it today. Hm... Problem got solved. He was out for the moment... Sorry for taking up your time. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]
