It's that time again, I've started to record new material, and finished a mostly final version of one of the new songs, Enigma.

Vocals not added yet, and will tweak the sound balance some more, but all in all, i'm glad of the work.

Those wondering about my distortion:

BOSS MT-2 with Noise Gate, Compressor (Sustain at about halfway, and with level around the 1/4th) and A 3/4th way Hall Reverb, all played on an ESP H-1000 guitar with Seymour Duncan pickups.

The Digitized model from my Me-50 multieffect, as I've yet to buy the Analog MT-2, but I will get one by next week or so, with a set of Shure Mics for Vocal takes. yayness.

irregular beat, insane sounds blaring out my speakers, yet it all comes together nicely.
Great Song.
Been playing it loads since I woke up.

SOrta reminds me of Apocolyptica.

I am so lucky to have all these songs made by massassians just for ME to test my amplifier out at school.

Great work. *Italian gestures and such*

I have no idea how anyone could say it sounds like Apocalyptica...

Apter comparisons to me seem to be earlier Iced Earth/earlier Metallica. The frequent speed changes, heavy riffing and almost disjointed riff changes especially remind me of Metallica's "...And Justice For All" album. But it's certainly not a copy, which is good; the tone is darker and "eviller" sounding, somehow...

I really like it. Are we going to hear any tracks with vocals any time soon? :P

Yeah, once they're recorded.

in the meantime, a new song, this time, a remake from the old Demo, Nomads.

Also, the cover art is complete, I only need to finish up the booklet

Bump, and also some more news.

I'm working on recording a new solo for nomads, should be done writing it sometime near the end of the afternoon, so I'm putting off recording The Noise for now.

hah. vocals will be somewhat like Stormlord's vocals (http://www.stormlord.net)

but of course, not the same, but same idea, varied high and low calls.

and the new solo is recorded, download nomads again to hear it.

oh, and if you want an idea, here are the lyrics to both songs:

-Enigma-

The Echoes Race with my breath
An Artic path Opens, and collapses
Millions of steps have met
The nameless faces of the masses

Dull words spoken by dull personas
Their truths forged by deletion
Absently Minded, swaying like grass
Enigmatic sights are what they mention

Their ignorance a bliss to them
Their knowledge inexistant to us
Worthless thrash to them, to us a gem
In spirals, dozens of souls lost

Emerald irises turning to the stars
"What is there, but the stars"
The eyes wonder at their existence
While the soul refuses its stance

Enigma!
Eternal Nomad
Follow her!
To see this tragedy
Enigma!
See our world now
Crumbling in its stupidy

Her path has been clouded
But the crimson stars show her way
Traitors walk along her side
But her wit sends them away
Dictators of human life
know nothing of human will
Muting the living speech
Delays what will be said
Take back was was stolen
The grip is tighter than ever.
Once the truth is out
Our will returns to us.

Sleepless journeys taught her much
The world which reeks of emptiness
Millions walking with no purpose
Nobodies that corrupt the ignorant

Her strenght grows with age
Five years and more have passed
Her notion of time, sharper
Nothing left at random.

Her Knowledge, a doom to them
Their weakness, a key to us
Leading a surfacing order
once kept under by mindlessness

The eyes wonder at their existence
"what is there but the stars"

Enigma!
See our world now!

-Nomads-

Group of hermits
banned by our realm
their legends travel
alongside their steps

Their stories lay
pages and pages stained
horrors of death
left to be read

One poor journey
lasting for decades
relentless in their quest
for absolute truth

Longing for their goal
Something gleams then
an answer's whisper
left upon their ears

From sea to earth
skulls meet our path
left behind by time
or left fallen from us
wherever we roam
crimson carpet stays
we will rise

We cross the lands
fending off foes in our path
we rise from defeat
laying wrath upon light
We slay the ways
rightfully and fairly
when blade meets
suddenly disntegrates

Battles induce no fear
lashed and mutilated
their own paths
lay upon the hilts
weapons of death in hand
are a bridge
life, death.
hang by their silvery essences.

From sea to earth
skulls meet our path
left behind by time
or left fallen from us
wherever we roam
crimson carpet stays
the signature
of a nomad
