I really want this game but I know I won't play it. I'm not much into flight sims.

And check out the screens. I was surprised for a minute but then realized who I was dealing with.

Why on Earth are the first five screenshots of a TIE Fighter and X-Wing going at it?

They're unlockable bonus craft.

Oh, and the game is very good. I played it at a friends pad for a short while; it's awesome.

I wouldn't be scared by the fact that it is a sim, as people are saying it is arcade-like and simple. (Be that a good or bad thing for you.)

... kinky

It's very un-simmy judging by the demo. I mean, your plane practically floats in the air by itself. Even Crimson Skies is more simmy.

If you're unsure, download the demo and judge for yerself.

Does this game require a joystick? I can't seem to get either of my old 2 button win3.1 era joysticks to work with win 2k.

Kinda strange they put the X-Wing and Tie fighter pics before the normal WW2 planes... I guess they're relying on that to sell the game.

Actually, the way LA posts images to its sites, the most recent images show up at the beginning of the list.

Yeah, check out the demo. I wasn't impressed. It didn't require a joystick, I played it with the keyboard...

Yeah, and the handling of the planes i really unnatural. Its too preccise. LEC needs to take a look at jane's WW2 fighters to see how planes should react. That game was fun evern when you used the keyboard.

You do realized that the creators of the X-Wing series created this game right? Oh and I played the demo on my PS2, thought it was fun. Keep in mind that this wasn't created to be sim like. The music seems pretty good also.
