The job I was working at the time, the one that I lost, was where I got this name. I was a sales associate, selling pools. There was a POS terminal system in the store, which we used for everything from inventory control to timekeeping. We all had these 3 digit user codes. They were randomly generated by system. The name doesnt actully mean anything, it doesnt stand for anything, its just 3 charecters that some computer pulled out of a virtual hat. I used the code regularly. Every time I needed to use the POS system, I had to put in my username. Hundreds of times a day, for monthes.

When I was canned, I decided to join Massassi. When the script asked me for a username, I instinctively typed 'gbk'. I said, why not, and changed it to all caps. And here we are.

I have a friend called BJ, stands for Brandon James, his first two names. Although sometimes we tell people it stands for Big Jesus. True story.

FG, dude, do you have that thing saved in a text file or something? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/eek.gif]

..But yeah, FG is right, it doesnt stand for anything. And anymore when I type it I dont use all caps; just plain old 'gbk'. Because, you know, it is not an acronym, and it doesnt stand for anything....
