As much as I loved X-Men 2, I'm quite skeptical. A movie with a cast composed of mostly child actors has the potential to be very, very bad.

Orson Scott Card has been trying to do this forever but he was complaining that they wouldn't ever give him enough creative control. (I would know, he sends my family Christmas cards [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif])

I remember seeing something about it a long time ago (2000?) and then it just went away. But here it is. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

This has been being talked about for quite some time. I hesitate to be hopeful, it's more than likely to turn into yet another abomination of an amazing book to a horrible movie. Suddenly i'm thinking Battlefield Earth. Give OSC major creative control then perhaps, but man you don't fsck with Ender's Game, seriously..

Don't be deluded by any other endings, they're all fake, with malicious intent to deceive, or just motivated by excessive optimism if not by downright sentimentality. The only authentic ending is the one provided here: John and Mary die. John and Mary die. John and Mary die." -Happy Endings [Margeret Atwood]

I agree, I think the Ender Game's series is one of my favorite series...ever.

And part of me is sad to see he is going to do a movie. Now if someone mentions Ender game, they'll just refer to the movie *Which has to meet a LOT of expectations*

The book allow the reader to create the whole concept *Battle School*, and the enviroments with their imagination, and I feel all the movie will do is take that away from people familiar with the book, and people who will read the book after the movie.
