Well, I finally got my images uploaded at Massassi's alternate IC. I kept guessing at my password, but I finally got it. Thanks Cool Matty!! LMAO!

Anyways, here are 4 pictures for you guys to check out:




Now, what happens? Well, if you look closely enough, you will see approxiamately 30 staples along my hairline, which keeps my incision closed. Those are coming out this Friday at 10:00AM Alberta (mountain) time. I can't wait for that bit 'o pain.

Currently I'm also waiting to hear back from my Neurosurgeon's secretary to find out if the pathology report has been completed on this so-called "tumor", so we can find out what it is exactly, and whether or not if it's low, mid, or high grade of a tumor, as well as how we can best treat this remaining tumor in my head.

My wrists are still black and blue from all the IV's I had (about 5 in all), and my belly is also covered in bruises from the lo-sac needles to keep my blood thin while I laid in bed for 2 weeks. Whee....

These pictures were taken the night after my surgery, so obviously I'm feeling quite a bit better now. My left eye has cleared up significantly, but still bruised, and my right eye is just a little yellow now.

Questions, feel free to ask, but my answers may take a day or two in coming.

Ouch. If I were you, I'd definately keep my head shaved, and come up with some sort of cool story as to the origins of that scar... (Something along the lines of, "Well I was using this table saw one afternoon . . . and there I was, blood pouring out my head and down over my face, and me not making a sound. As I was getting in the car to drive myself to the hospital, my neighbor up and fainted . . . etc..."

Well, I'm making the assumption based on what little to no medical knowledge I have that if he had a stroke/seizure, there could have been muscles or something could have ruptured, thus spilling blood. But since there wasn't a cut, and so the blood didn't, it looks like he has a black eye.

It's probably all wrong, but I think the idea behind what I said is kinda right.

Once again, thanks everyone for the support, and of course the encouragement to get better.

Today I get to got get my blood drawn again to retest my Dilatin levels, to make sure it's correct for my weight class. Whee...I love needles...NOT! Then I get my staples out on Friday. And that's a new Experience for me....wish me luck...
