Yeah he is the perfect actor for the part. Its nice to finally see him with a leading role, rather than a supporting character.

Comic book character from Dark Horse (the same company that does the Star Wars and Alien Comics). He's basically the devil; as a child he was summoned to earth by the Nazis during World War 2 (think something along the lines of Wolfenstein) to help them in their conquest of the world. Fortunately, the allies intervened, and he was raised by the US gov't instead, and he and a coupld of other wierdos (a guy who can sense the past of any object he touches, and a girl who can create and control fire) now do Paranormal 'Research' (aka butt whooping) for the United States. What better people to do that kind of work than the paranormal themselves?

Basically if you crossed X-Men with X-Files you'd get Hellboy.
