A druggie friend of mine would come in late to first hour with a cup of coffee. He would tell me how he was looking forward the day when we would all have IVs stuck in our arms providing uppers and downers as appropriate in this awesomely cynical, existential manner. Then he'd laugh and take a drink from his mug.

Startlingly self-aware people with chemical dependencies are funny that way.

Back on topic... I drink a Red Bull almost every morning. Definatly helps to get me through the day.

I experience microsleep everyday, apparently. That article described the symptoms exactly. Of course, I also get ~4 to 5 hours of sleep every night, except on Saturday nights, because I sleep on Sundays [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif].
