I'm looking for a Digital camera, any good recommendations?

I currently have my eye on a Fujifilm 3 m.p. digital camera for around 175 at circuit city.

here's a link to a picture of it:

Does anyone here own this camera or have any experience with it?

My price limit is $200, so I can't go over that. I'm looking for a simple digital camera that is basically point-and-shoot.

Looks fine to me. 3mp = win. 3x optical zoom = win. I have a friend with a finepix camera and he loves it.

I have a very similar Fujifilm finepix camera myself. I love it with all my heart. It takes ok to good indoor pictures, but outdoor pictures are stunning. My dad owns a much more expensive canon digital camera, and we both agree that mine takes better outdoors pictures.

Oh, and you might want to use that website to compare the different cameras, they do really good reviews of them.

I have a FujiFilm FinePix 2800Zoom. I bought it a few years ago, but it's still a kicka** camera. My only complaint would be it's somewhat inferior indoor pictures, especially when what you're focusing on is far away. Other than that it's a great camera.

That cam looks ok . . . but the limited amount of included memory makes me whince . . . fortunately you can pick up an extra 128mb for about 50 bucks...

Eh no point in even looking at the included memory with a 3mp+ camera, just rely on cards.

yeah, memory cards are not that expensive. My first priority is the best possible photo quality for the money, and many people here claim that this is a good camera in terms of that.

From the reviews Ive read, it sounds like it takes superb outside shots, but the inside shots are somewhat lacking... (problably do to its small flash)

I have that exact same camera and I like it quite a bit! It does take spectacular outdoor shoots and the inside ones aren't *that* bad.

You said you wanted a simple point and shoot camera, so that'll suit you just fine.

Have fun.
