OK, here's the deal. I gutted an old VCR and managed to squeeze a PC into it. Here's the specs:
Pentium 233MHz MMX
1.5GB HDD
96MB RAM
Built-in video, sound, and ethernet.
Basicly I want this in my home theater setup to play my MP3s without having to hook my laptop up to it. I've got about 30GB of music on a Windows Server 2003 machine over here on the network. Now I'd like to control it from my wireless laptop or PDA from the web browser. I found a winamp plugin called WIKI that seems to do the job but I was wondering if there was a better solution to this. Maybe linux? If anyone else has had any experence in building something like this let me know.
