I have a 5.1 sound setup for my computer. It's the Cambridge Soundworks THX 5.1 Set, 500 Watts. Recently it started doing something weird. If I was playing something at high volume, or even mid volume for that matter, the system would eventually just cut off, like someone had pressed the power button. Then I could just turn it back on again but all my settings would be reset.
I noticed the sub wasn't even really hot when it was doing it, but the transformer was getting kind of warm, so I turned it on it's side and bought a USB power 80mm fan to blow across it.
I guess that's not it, cause I was just blasting some music and it cut out about two minutes into the track and it's even cold as hell in my room.
So what else could it be? I'm thinking about opening it up and see if I can see anything wrong.
