A long time ago, somebody here helped me get TIE Fighter running on ym windows XP. They referred me to some type of windows campatability toolkit, and a few steps on what to do with it. I havent touched the game in many months, and I have since reformatted. I suddenly got the urge to play that game now.....can somebody help me out with that program again? Im pretty sure it came from Microsoft's web site.

I'm having this problem too, tried to reinstall TIE Fighter yesterday, and had problems. Somethin DirectX

Wouldn't know about that one, have you tried just setting TIE Fighter to run in Windows 95/98 mode?
