2004-02-25, 4:05 PM #1
Has anyone seen the commercial by Quiznos subs? The one with the cut outs of animals singing a song... If not check it out at The Quiznos Site ... Well I think its hilarious but I had a thought nudging in the back of my mind that I've seen those characters before somwhere... I thought I had seen them online some where... Anybody seen it somewhere? If so, where?

A lot of people in WA state have complained about them (called corporate offices, any station that runs the ads, etc.), but business is booming I guess.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds these commericals to be the most maddeningly annoying things ever to be televised! I will never eat at Quizno's because of them.

...This is a sad day for Massassi... You guys actually.. like... that commercial?
*shudders in disgust*
Honestly, I don't know when corporations started to think that they could get business from people by annoying the utter crap out of them, but I curse that day.

Ugh.

And on another note, I'm in the same boat as Sine. I will *not* be eating at Quizno's for some time... if ever again.

Personally I'm quite proud of this internet born idea that it made it on nat'l television. I mean it shows that just something that you made for fun and prolly didn't intend to ever make money off of made you money. Just enhances the mysterious american dream IMHO.... LOOOOOW Budget.

I think a commercial made in Kid Pix would be more asthetically pleasing.

There's gotta be some kinda violation of the Geneva Convention.

Actually, he does commercials for VH1 with the Kittens, or at least did. I haven't seen them in a while. Check the FAQ. It mentions the things he does work for.

You're not the only one.

I actually saw the entire thing for the first time last night. My reaction was as follows.

Quote:

Please go away and make it stop!

I obviously hate it. If this is the way advertising is going to go, I want to shoot the man responsible in the face. Honestly, this was as funny to me as bathroom jokes. It was funny for all of 5 seconds, then it was annoying, and finally I was ready to change channels in disgust. I didn't becuase I wanted to see the whole thing. Now when it comes on, I change channels.
