I need this domain, and I will kill all who stand in my way...

OK, Here's the problem. I need to buy this domain name, it's a name our company had a few years ago and never did anything with. Well since it expired it was purchased by someone else. Here's the whois:

Quote:
<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
Registrar: TUCOWS INC.
Whois Server: whois.opensrs.net
Referral URL: http://domainhelp.tucows.com
Name Server: NS1.15X.NET
Name Server: NS2.15X.NET
Status: REGISTRAR-LOCK
Updated Date: 06-nov-2003
Creation Date: 17-apr-2002
Expiration Date: 17-apr-2005
</font>

I really don't want to have to wait until April 2005, and we are willing to make them an offer for the name, but how would I go about doing this? And what the hell does registrar-lock mean on the status?

Thanks in advance...

What is the domain? www.tucows.com? They've had that for years. As for getting it from them, good luck with that...

No no, the domain is http://www.sportseasons.com/

It's a chain of stores around the Nashville, TN area. We used to have the domain, it just expired and I guess they grabbed it. We'd be willing to pay for the name, but I can't find any way to even make them an offer.

[edit]Also, I can't type.[/edit]

Don't count on them relinquishing that domain name anytime soon. They capatalized on what you disregarded. The likely response is that you had the domain, didn't want it or forgot to renew it, and now we have it.

This is buisness. I suggest another name.

It's ironic that the tucows website has an advertisement saying "Is your domain name taken?"

Maybe you need to start reading posts.

I looked it up on Network Solutions. Tucows just owns the domain now. I want to know how I would go about contacting them.
