I'm sitting here on shared 56k... it's killing me. I can't stand the stuffing about to get ADSL around here, nothing ever "just works" really. Perhaps one day... a pipe dream? Till then, I'll just have to enjoy my 4k/s conection.

I pay $40/mo. for my cable connection. And it's well worth it.

I started out with a Pentium 200 MMX with a dial up connection (when I say started out I mean about the time I started to care and understand what I am doing with my comp and the internet). I switched to cable on the advice of my brother.
What a difference! There really is an 'internet experience' I found out.
Then I bought a PIII 700. Oh man! now my comp could do something with the data it was recieving.
There's no way I could go back to dial up and continue using the web like I do now. :/
