Maybe if you stare at a pencil long enough your vision starts to blur and it LOOKS like the pencils moving/your loosing your sanity.

Actually, I can do it.

See, what you do is you go to a high, really windy place, and you set the pencil on the table. Then you step back and stare super hard, and when you can feel the wind picking up, that means you're channelling your power enough. As the wind gets harder, and you can feel a burst of wind, push your hands out and the pencil flies away.
