...free, simple, robust program that will batch rotate/flip bitmaps. Searching google, I can't find anything that is both free and does what I want it to. Remember, batch is the key word here.

Second that. If you have a linux machine available, there is a commandline tool called "convert" that will do it for you as well. It uses the imagemagicK library which is nice.
