If any of you have a DVD burner, i've heard that there is some kind of wierd risk that the burner can destroy video cards, that for some reason it caches what your write to the video card, then burns it... I dont know what sense that made, im just wanting to know about this rumor? fact? Anyone?

I've never heard that either. Probably just a rumor, or if not, it's a rare bug on a rare driver on a rare drive on a rare video card.

Thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard. Really it is. Have no fear, a DVD burner will most decidedly *NOT* harm your video card.

Thats what i thought too, but supposedly it has happend... I dont know, maybe only a certain drive has done that... But its dumb considering most systems have better resources than their video cards... MOST at least.
