I swear, this is my last thread on NWN. I'm just curious about the multiplayer modes. Does anyone have somewhere I can go to see what the different multiplayer modes mean(or you could tell me here if there isn't a place)? I looked in the manual and I couldn't find them.

Modes? Do you mean the Gameplay Type selection? If so, it doesn't mean anything - it just tells you what kind of game they're playing, if it's strict roleplaying or powergaming or whatever.

I'm still confused.

Story = no duh
Action = just killing each other?
Team = Action except in teams?
Social = no killing?
Tech support = obvious
PW Story = no idea (I don't know what PW stands for)
PW Action = no idea
Alernative = no idea
Arena = Some kind of army vs army battling with objectives such as waypoints or just killing everyone else
Story lite = I get the idea, but still don't know exactly what it is
Solo = obvious
Melee = FFA.....but wouldn't that be action?
Roleplay = I know that one

They really don't mean anything, it's just to help you find a server that's more geared toward you.

It's kinda like music genres

They aren't game types, like in Unreal Tournament. It's just a short description of what's going on in the server - Arena could be structured PvP, melee would be a free for all, and whatnot.
