Did you know that it took 16 hours to render just ONE FRAME? Isn't that freaking crazy?

I learned that bit from my teacher in my Maya class (Maya was used to do the CGI for LotR, FYI)

I'm got my tickets for 12:00 am on Tuesday Night/ Wednsday Morning. I am going away with my family and won't get an opertuinity to see it otherwise until after christmas.

I'm seeing it Wednesday night, after watching the first two EEs.

One frame.. That's harsh. Considering 30 frames equal to about 1 second on average of film... Imagine for a 3 hour movie what that would be in total?.....I don't even want to...

You people got weird theatres. Around here tickets dont go on sale till half hour before each showing.

A bunch of theaters sell advance tickets to big movies, such as ROTK.
