Yeah. There's no law agains it here or anywhere in northern Europe as far as I know. No idea about the rest of the EU though.

maybe it wasnt 'legal' in the first place. maybe it just wasnt illegal either. like that thing about cannabalism in germany. everyone tries to hope the citizens of their country arent that messed up, but tehn when one turns out ot be youre like crap i gotta make it illegal now. sorta makes your country look bad a litlte i guess. not to most people but politicians might see it that way maybe

Assisted suicide wasn't illegal in the US until Kavorkian(sp?) went ahead and did a few. We ussually don't make laws against something we can't concieve happening in the first place.

Trivia: the Finnish law against bestiality was set aside in 1971. In the dark ages in Sweden and Finland, considerably more sodomites were burned at the stake than witches (or suspected witches rather, as there were never real witches).

Just for the record, bestality is legal in some European countries because of a drive to get rid of any law that was based on religion. ie Christianity

... Also, Mort, you can tell if an animal is uncomfortable or in pain just as easily as you can an infant..but..I guess certain people are willing to pretend otherwise if it means they can **** animals with a clean conscience.
