FRAPS recording JK question

Ok, so I recorded a match of SSR PRO 4000 with fraps and it came out as 4 clips at 4 gig each 7 min long each. Is there a way to combine them all to one mpeg and make the size small enough to burn to cd? Keep in mind I dont want to lose alot of video quality and i would like to add an audio track to the Background. Thanks in advance for your help, fellow massassians.

4 gigs for 7 minutes??!?!?! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/eek.gif] What is it, full uncompressed frames?!?!?

First, convert the video to a usuable format, like DivX, Xvid, or the like. THen have your fun.

Comes out as .avi pure uncompressed frames, yah. Gave me 100 megs for 5 seconds. Yah get some kind of music...thingy....to compress and compile it. Can't think of a good one atm, Windows Movie Maker is .asf only, no vcd or svcd. Look around, google knows all.

The man that downloads an executable off of KaZaA is just broadcasting his IP to every spyware and adware company in existence.

As a video editor, you should just edit the movie and create a film. If you have windows, just pull up Windows Movie Maker 2 and load the clips and get cutting. Movie Maker encodes video into .wmv, not .asf. If you want to encode it in .mpeg, download TMPGEnc to encode it. With that program, you can encode a VCD-ready .mpeg and other file formats.

A. Only Windows ME and XP has Windows Movie Maker.

B. .wmv is .asf, believe it or not. It's just a newer version of the same exact thing.

C. MPEG is a horrible format nowadays. Best to use Divx. Nearly anything can play it nowadays. MPEG is only useful for VCDs, and you should only make VCDs if you plan on playing them on a standard DVD player, and not a computer, because you lose great amounts of quality.
