Heh, I liked those. The animation and the kids were my favorites. Just wondering, did anybody see Bush interviewed lately on Meet the Press? I was watching the news and they showed a few parts of it. I found it humorous when they asked him about the Iraq and WMD bit again. I really perked up when I heard

Call me an idiot (begging for trouble right here, aren't I?), but if I remember correctly, one of the main reasons Bush "wanted" to invade Saddem in was because he had WMD. Now he's saying he COULD have them or could have BUILT them. Just slightly controdicting, to say the least.

The issue is, and this has been brought up by several political people, is that Bush had complete faith in the U.S. intelligence, and that intelligence let him down, and now he is taking the heat. I might buy it more that the U.S. Military Top Brass felt there was unfinished business in Iraq than Bush. The intelligence agency basically hung Bush, Cheney, Powell, and Blair out to dry. If anyone should apologize, its them.

That said, this is politics after all, and Bush can't just come out and say "Our intelligence sucks" even if it does, because there goes the nation's feeling of safety. That is why after something like the Oklahoma Bombing, those in charge try to find one person as quickly as possible - as long as their is one person, and all blame gets put on him, most of this nation of ignorant dopes goes "whew, we're safe now!"

Its all about security, and this kind of politics has been going on for ages - regardless of which political party is in office...

Communism could potentially work in a perfect world, but too bad, cause this world is far from perfect. Instead, communism creates countries like North Korea with horribly unstable governments, millions of starving people, and a weak economy.

And as for Bush-bashing, I don't consider it un-patriotic, just dumb. All this **** about "Bush is dumb," "his daddy bought his way into Yale," "he went AWOL," he's a Nazi" is just ignorant BS.

Bush should have never went on "Meet the Press". He does not interview well at all and he knows this. It's his and his cabinet's fault for making a fool of himself. The president was hardly prepared at all. He is a good strong president but he is not smooth operator when it comes to talking. Imagine what other countries must think when they saw our president dugging his own grave. Now I know why we have a bad repuation. Oh well... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I can't exactly say that it isn't the Republicans turn to get their *** kicked with jokes. Conservatives took complete advantage of Clinton and now it's the conservative's turn to get humiliated. I just think it's sad that it is Bush that is the center piece. He is a generally good guy and there are far worse conservatives out there.

I just think that he should either be more prepared to think on his feet instead of "Ummmm?"ing and "Ah well, Er well..."ing through an interview. He is definetly an intelligent man it is his speaking skills that bring him ridicule. Just get him an acting coach for all I care as long as I don;t have to be made fun of by the international community because our president can't speak.

Well, President's do tend to know more considering they usually go to law school, are politicians and know how to deal with politicians, won a nation wide campaign, and have to know quite alot to be President whither they intend to learn those things or not. Politicians tend to now more(especially about...you know, politics) than the layman because that's their job.

Bush did have a successful business as well(of course, I'm not sure whither he started it or he took it over, but in the latter at least he kept it running). And if you're going to complain, go to the Supreme Court. They are the ones that said "Stop the recounts. Bush won."

I don't care whither you like it or not, but Bush isn't exactly the brightest president we've had. Presidents like FDR and Reagan were smart. Presidents like Bush and Nixon were not. And I'm not blaming Iraq on him. Stop reading things between the lines that aren't there. btw, didn't i specifically say that while not one of the smartest presidents, he is still generally smarter than us?
