Some of you may not know, but JorBo left here (northern Minnesota) a month or so ago to go to Georgia for Infantry Training. I hadn't talked to him until he called tonight. He tried calling his family, but they weren't home and I was the only other number he could think of.
He said he's doing alright, but he did sound pretty drained (physically and emotionally) on the phone. He said it's getting a little more interesting now, because they're getting a little more into Marksmenship and stuff, rather than just getting conditioned by the Drill Sergeants. He also said that he wakes up sometimes wondering "What the hell am I doing here?" but overall, it sounded like he doesn't really regret it. I think he's planning on joining the Airborne Infantry.
He said to say hi to everyone, so I thought I'd include Massassi. I just thought I'd post this here, since some of you knew JorBo from the Chat Room, etc...

Post any comments, and I'll try to get them to him via mail or phone.

One of my lacrosse buddies from high school joined the army last year, did airborne training, and is now in the middle of Special Forces training. He loved the airborne stuff
