Post movies that the critics said sucked, but you really liked.

www.rottentomatoes.com if you aren't sure.

Gods and Generals - I thought this movie was friggin awesome. It rawked!

Bicentennial Man - I don't care how it was related to the book, it was a good movie.

The One - Cheesey special effects..but Jet Li is badass.

Boondock Saints - F****** critics

Kung Pow - What isn't to like? It's to damn funny not to.

K-19: The Widowmaker - I <3 this film.

The Matrix Revolutions - Don't hurt me. This film got trashed. Bah.

Equilibrium - *dies* Once again F***** critics.

Scary Movie 3 - I liked it better then 1 and 2.

The Scorpion King - Meh. I'm a sucker for crappy action. I love it also :P

K-Pax - Oh come on! I mean, how cool was that movie? Very.

There are many more, but these are all off the top of my head.

I also agree with SAJN about Revolutions. I didn't think it was that bad- I was even able to follow the story and symbolism for the most part.

Imo, Gods and Generals was absolutely horrible compared to the original, Gettysburg. Stephen Lang did a much better job playing General Picket than he did playing Stonewall Jackson. And Jeff Daniels only had a fraction of the amount of screen time in the prequel compred to the original. Also, the use of computer generated soldiers in the battle scenes was unacceptable, especially compared to what they pulled of without any GG-effects in the original.

Also, I thought K-19 was ok. It would've been a lot better if it was in Russian using Russian actors. It pales in comparison to Das Boot.

As for movies that I liked that a lot of people seem to hate, Dude, Wheres My Car? comes to mind. It made me laugh, and I thought it was a well-made bad movie. Although towards the end it started to drag on a bit.

K-Pax. That movie was pure genius. And also 'the one' if you see it as completely brainless free violence. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

I think everyone could follow the story and symbolism. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that story the symbolism were horrible! I sat all through Revolutions credits just thinking "... how the hell did they **** it up this much!"

Those movies still piss me off. The first Matrix was a beautiful thing. Great story, awesome action, never before seen special effects, and even good symbolism. It was about government oppression. How we're kept in a world of lies, and never told the truth. THAT was what the Matrix was about. Now all of a sudden Neo is Jesus. Well **** that.

And why didn't they focus more on Smith?! He was great! One of the best villians I've ever seen! It's called the Matrix, but it hardly takes place in the Matrix at all. I wanted to see more of him taking over.

The way they killed Trinity was horrible. "Well, we don't need this character anymore. Let's just write her out."

"Oh no, Trinity, you're dead! Damn!... Oh well, off I go!"

The ending fight was so horrible. Just Neo getting his *** kicked, then he goes "oh, I get it now." Then he blows up, and everything is reset.

They ruined it. They ****ing ruined it. It could have been one of the greatest trilogies of all time. I was so excited, and then so dissapointed. The symbolism completely changed. The story for Reloaded seemed like it was written for a video game.

go here > collect this > boss battle > go there > do this > huge cutscene > final battle!

... That's all I've got for now. My head hurts And I'm going to go calm down.

The first Matrix was more about Jesus, paradise, and other various biblical references than the other two were...

They just shouldn't have ended it the way everyone thought it would end. It could have been incredibly intelligent and shocking, but instead it just ended the way it was heading from the beginning. Not what I expected, and very one-tracked. I don't think it was horrible, though.
