In the past months, i've been playing SWG, and i have grown bored of it. Yesterday, i've "found" Ragnarok Online again, and fell in love at once.

My problem is that i cant decide. With my current monetary standing i can only pay for one game. I have an SWG, a monotonous but still, an exciting game (when i can actually find some friends to interact with), that is very complex and attractive. And i also got an RO, a charming game with a wonderful atmosphere and great soundtrack that entertains me beyond all means.

What should i do?

There are ways to play on "public" servers that some people in the RO community have set up so people can play for free, you may want to check that out

Your refering to "Private" servers, not "Public"

And they are illegal.
They usually offer increased drop rates and exp. Also, they are not reliable, I've played on one. In adition to that... There will only be a few hundred people on. And unless its just you and a bunch of freinds tryin to have fun, don't bother.

I'm having alot more fun paying. Me and my freinds decided that the private servers issues weren't worth it.


If you play on Loki, I might be able to help you out with some stuff.

Sakray is the test server, 2x exp and drops. You'll get updates first. Usually, nothing is wrong with them. So you get more exp and quicker updates.

But most find Chaos and Loki more enjoyable because they are more stable.

I remember playing the open beta, then shortly after that ended imdRO, a private server. That had 5000+ members, and was wonderful...until it got posted on a forum and got completely overloaded and trashed. It was a very nice, private community, and I loved it to death. Ah those were the days.
