only ones that are 10 meg or less.

up to 20 megs will be considered if it is a very good addon.

note: I have morrowind and bloodmoon but not tribunal.

i doubt it has 10 square miles of exploreable space, lots of quests and a storyline that is determined by the user.

I have a mod i made myself. some may consider it a cheat, but i do not.

it is simply a "fatal bow" that has 5 arrows and breaks after 2 shots, so must be constantly repaired. i couple that with the 100% store chance mod and i have a bow that kills in 1 or 2 shots, but breaks easily. to back the bow up i have an obsidian dagger enchanted with on use soultrap.

I liked the face mods for Morrowind because the default ones were just... sad.

Then I have something that gives all vendors 10 times the normal money. It's not exactly a cheat since it saves you the trouble of doing the sellback trick to gradually sell expensive items.

I also have all the official Bethesda mods, they're typically pretty good. Then I have something called Vampire's Embrace or Vampiric Embrace or something that adds a lot of fun to being a vampire.

Another, pretty powerful, mod is PMB [Private Mobile Base]. It's like an airship from Final Fantasy, sort of. You can park it over various towns and store things in it. The only drawback is it costs huge amounts of money, both initially and with upgrades.

Those are all the ones I use.

My favorite Morrowind mods:

NPC Face Replacer
http://kosh.hopto.org:8000/ware/morrowind/plugins/New%20Npc%20Replacer%203.50.ace
(much better looking NPC faces)

Landscape Remix

(high-res textures for the landscape)

I got Morrowind for Christmas. I got the GOTY edition, so with Tribunial and Bloodmoon, but I only installed Tribunial a few days ago (I figured I ought to get used to normal Morrowind before I start installing addons). I love the assassins that come for me, I get about 1600 gold from their armour. :-D
My guy is sort of a mage, but I have goodish armour because my best spells are Touch and not Target, but I'm trying to train up my Marksman skill. I'm at 36 now and I keep missing, but when i do hit it's KAPOW and it does a lot of damage. :-D

See me!

So anyway, are all these mods just cheats? The face one looks cool, but the others just look like trainers. It's no fun if you cheat and yourself invincible, that way you could slaughter a whole city. Which'd be cool, but would ruin the game.

I do have one question.. I have the 'Mark' and 'Recall' spells.. Are there any 'teleport' spells that can send me back to a fixed point? The problem with 'mark' and 'recall' is that they only work one way.. It'd be great if I could 'teleport' to Balmora and 'Recall' back to Ald'ruhn or whatever.

Not really:
  • Intel Pentium 4 2.6 GHz 800 MHz FSB
  • Intel D875PBZ motherboard
  • 1GB Crucial PC-3200 400 MHz DDR SDRAM
  • ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
  • Sound Blaster Audigy

If other people arn't experiencing the same problems as me, I guess it's a driver problem.

***possible Tribunal spoiler?***

Mort, if you finish the Tribunal main quest you get a new way to teleport to several fixed locations. Was that a spoiler? Nothing detailed anyway.

Also you can use almsivi and divine intervention spells to transport you to the nearest shrine/temple. So if you need to carry some nice heavy artifacts back to civilization before continuing your adventure in a daedric ruin, you just mark the ruin, use an intervention spell to return to civilization, get to your base of operations and drop the junk and then recall.

You can also eventually use the propylon chambers as a quick transport if you get the routes worked out and have all the indices. But that's not so much a teleport as an alternate fast travel circuit.

Then there are a TON of mods with teleport devices that send you to various cities and important locations but they can be overpowering as they can remove the travel aspect entirely from questing.

Morrowind is well known to have crash to desktop issues for a LOT of people. It's not one specific video card type, it is just crash happy for many many people but not others.

It always annoys me when people get all defensive and proclaim someone else's computer must suck if they experience a bug with a game that they themselves don't. These are PC games we are talking about and many bugs are not universal.

oooh ooh ooh!
I got some scrolls of almsivi and divine intervention after some quest. Where can I either buy more scrolls, or buy the actual spell? Also I'm not doing the Tribunial quest because I've been told that it stops the assassins from attacking. They're easy money. :-)

The Balmora mages Guild has the spells (Most guilds do), and you can buy the scrolls almost everywhere.

I frequent Balmora quite a bit, I've never seen the spell. Unless it's called something obscure and I didn't think it was interesting. What is the spell called?

I'm pretty sure it's there. Hell, I'm going to boot this baby up to check just for you! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

EDIT: Unable to find Divine Intervention this fast, but Almsivi intervention can be bought in the Balmora Tample lower levels. The person you buy it from also has Recall for sale, and the mage on the other side of the room has Mark - check em out! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

As well, every Mages Guild Supply Chest has a scroll of Almisive and Divine intervention.

For shame!
But here's what you do. Go to the mages guild, join it if you haven't already or else just steal from their equipment chest. You'll get a scroll of Almsivi Intervention. Cast that and you'll appear in front of the closest temple.

That's easier than loading up TESCS to give you directions anyway. As long as you're in/near Balmora you'll go to their temple.

It's odd actually... I just finished uploading a mod to morrowind summit then came here. :P
