::look of disgust:: And they made my graphics card...tsk tsk tsk. But seriously, I think that's just one more competitor for the pop-up blocker genre.

Because you know it's not like I don't already have Windows installed on this computer along with my router's firewall, but I need ANOTHER thing that doesn't let me use the internet. Great.

Oh and the world needs more popup blockers!

When I was on windows, I found the nview control panel very nice for providing multiple desktops. IF I had been using IE, it would be nice to have the popup blocker, simply because it's wrapped in a program that's already running at startup, rather than putting yet another systray icon.

Also, since I have used their other nview products, I feel comfortable that they won't be installing spyware, tracking where I go on the internet, or taking up too many system resources.

Okay, now the firewall thing is a bit whack. I wish it was a separate, OPTIONAL download [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I just want my Firefox. It blocks every popup that will ever be.

After SP2 we may need to re-evaluate these statements. The beta is looking promising. I don't use IE, but some of the new features look good..

SP2 will block a LOT of programs, part of the DRM movement. A lot of freeware won't be compatible anymore. I'm so not upgrading.

Also, as soon as I get my flash plugin working for FireFox, it will be my one and only browser. <3 tabbed browsing.

Yeah, Firefox is great. This is the third version of Firebird/fox that I've used and I am never switching back to IE. Yes there are add-ons like Google toolbar which allow you to search from Google and block popups but it's all about the tabbed browsing.

I have only seen one tabbed browsing add-on that made IE have such a capability and it was SLOW!!!

Ive been using Fire* since 0.1, back when it was still called 'Phoenix'. With 0.4 I made it my primary browser, replacing the old Mozilla suite.
