Since I'm on DSL, I love how none of this effects me.

I feel sorry for all those poor sods on aol, though. However, if micro$oft buys it, it won't make aol much worse than it already is.
It's a sub-par service that gives you little for your money despite the fact that you can get real DSL for only about $10 more.

I'm just wondering what would happen with MSN Messenger and AIM...

They would combine to create a super uber IM.

If Microsoft could make Windows products as well as they've made some of their games they would be a good company (mind you some of the games like to crash in some versions of windoes :P )

If MS would make their software like some of their hardware, which I have no problems with, THEN they might be a better company.
