Boondock Saints 2 / Snatch 2

I can't wait. Boondock Saints 2 isn't in production yet, but according to the official site, they said they are making a sequel.. Then again they have been saying that for ages. and E! just had a thing on Snatch 2 today.

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Hollywood star Brad Pitt has reportedly signed to star as Captain America in a new movie about the comic book hero. Tinseltown bosses want the film to emulate the success of recent comic adaptations Spider-Man and The Hulk. According to reports, Pitt - who is currently filming historical epic Troy - is due to begin shooting Captain American next year. He says, "I wanted to make an all-out family movie - something that all ages can go to. And as a child it was my favorite comic." Meanwhile, the studio grapevine also claims Pitt is keen to reprise his role as an Irish gypsy in a follow-up to Guy Ritchie's 2000 gangster movie Snatch. </font>

There shouldn't be a sequel to Snatch, the movie ended so perfectly.

Yeah, a sequel for Snatch isn't really appropriate.

However, I am looking forward to Boondock Saints 2.

It may not be Snatch 2 as such... it may just be another awesome Guy Ritchie movie that just keeps the same characters, because they're pretty sweet.

I've heard lots of praise for the Boondock Saints around here, but I know nothing about it.

Boondock Saints is one of the best action movies there is. Awesome plot, great character development, everything in the movie is done perfectly. I'm not sure if BDS2 will ever get made though... its been in pre-production for years. I think the original target release date was last year. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Also, it wouldnt be the same without Willem Dafoe, and currently there are no plans to include him in the cast.

I love snatch and lock stock and two smoking barrels. I hope the sequel isn't called "Snatch 2", but rather a whole new adventure with the same characters. I've still gotta see that boondock saints movie.

Didnt 75% of characters die by the end of Snatch?

Boondock Saints is great but I wouldn't really call it an action movie and I wouldn't say it had any signigicant character development. I just think it's a really good, take it for face value movie. It's the kind of movie that a sequel feels like a cash in but almost needs to be done since so few people ever saw the first one.

Well...not the main ones. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] I'd say it's 45%.

The title is a little odd for me, for when I saw Boondock Saints and Snatch, I watched them back to back. And now your saying sequels, in the same thread? Whoa man, I'm tripping out here.

Hmmm...I'm less than excited about a sequel to BDS. I just can't see them pulling it off as well as the first. I thought it ended perfectly.
