Argue --> AvP vs Avp2

AvP2 was a huge dissapointment. Playing it you know the graphcs are more advanced, but for some reason it doesnt feel it. It seems cartoonish. And some of the weapons for the Predator felt wrong. Only the marine made it better.

AvP is still sweet. Its fast and intense, and smooth, and atmospheric.

1 vs 2?

I've never played #1, sadly. I kind of wish I had it.

But since I don't, AvP2 is the r0><0r!

I liked AvP 2 better.

AvP2 had better story (as opposed to AvP1's lack of story) and a much better and more playable alien mode oh and must i mention it SHIPPED WITH A SAVE "FEATURE"

note to all game developers a save system should never be called a feature

however AvP1 freaked me out alot more... better atmosphere overall... and ive tried but have never been able to get a flare in AvP2 to set off my motion detector like in AvP1 which freaked me out because i threw a flare and got a blip on my motion tracker thingy and i froze... just waiting for an alien to pop out of nowhere

Overall, AvP1 was superior, though AvP2 had alot of great things. I liked the original AvP because the Predator wasn't weak, was really fun to play as, and all his weapons were awesome. In AvP2, it pissed me off how he became visible again when you fired the shoulder cannon (he never did in the movies). The Marine in AvP2 was great as far as the story goes, but I hated how you spent A LOT of time fighting humans and not Aliens. AvP had more creepiness factor though, with the atmosphere and what not of the ships and how they resembled the ones in the movies.

I happen to have both, and each game had their great points.

Some of the levels in #1 were awesome, atmospheric, and definitly were meant for this type of sci-fi horror. Even the animation of the models were dead on for the dated engine. So I was leery about the change in management and company changes.

But #2 ended up being another very good game. The missions as the soldier were all very cinematic like, and I really enjoyed the graphics and even the atmosphere of this one. It made me jump a few times.

I'd say it's a definite tie.
