Sam Fisher vs. James Bond

Allright, this has been bugging me for awhile. Who would win in a no-holds-barred fight between James Bond and Sam Fisher (the guy from Splinter Cell)?

That's a hard one... I'd probably say Sam Fischer.

Although James seems to be great at concealing and carrying multiple weapons, all the while being just as agile and fast as if he had none at all.... so he could just use one of those guns on Fischer.

Sam Fisher is more of a badass spy while Bond is the sauve kind of spy. It'd depend on the situation.

Bond's got far too many STDs to even be able to fight someone with the skills that Fisher has.

Bond has been in 20+ movies, 6-7 video games, and has always come out on top. No pun intended.

Fisher's been in a book and a video game.


As you can see, Bond would win from experience alone.

And you hand the pro-James Bond team the argument. While Sam Fisher is forced to deal with the laws of physics, probability and ageing all at once, James Bond is not only free of these, but has a surrealistic environment working for him. Fisher is in a world where the bad guys occasionally win (see real world). Bond would win, simply because it's Bond. Humiliatingly, he'd let loose with a quip as he's killing him.

e.g.

Fisher: Time to die... (Drops from the ceiling behind Bond, preparing to strike)

Bond: (Connery accent) Looks like a 'Fisher out of water' to me... (fries Fisher with a watch-lasergun and has it off with many babes).

Bond would win and do it with style.

Besides, if you could be one, would you choose:

a) average looking guy that hides in the shadows to spy on people or;

b) suave looking guy that obtains information by sleeping with beautiful women.

If it were real life, Fisher, definitely. Bond would be dead in about twenty seconds if a shootout were to happen. Fisher would just disappear.

I think you are referring to the naked part of Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty. That wasn't snake, it ws Raiden, who everyone agress would be the first one to get shot in a fight.

The fact that James Bond scores with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots (I think thats enough [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]) of women means nothing. That doesn't make him a good fighter, it just means he looks good and can think up pickup lines quickly (Like anything doing with Octopussy...)

Sam Fisher also has plenty of personality! I think he's one of the funniest video game characters.
THis is how it would go:

BOND: How do you like your eggs in the..

FISHER: *deadly sneak attack from behind with bare hands

BOND: AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

So there!

This is how it'd go:

Bond I know you're somewhere, fisher...

Suddenly, Sam Fisher falls from the ceiling, and attempts to knock Bond out, but bond somehow blocks the increadable force of a man falling on him with his arm. He then shoots at sam with a laser-watch. Meanwhile, sam's already disapeared into the dark.

Bond I know you're out there... Samuel

Just as sam steps from the shadows for another attack, Raiden walks in the door

Raiden (in high pitched voice)Hey guys!

Snake finishes reloading his PSG as bond and snake hit the pavement
