Ja Models into Jk2

I wasn't really sure where to post this, I was just hoping somone could tell me how to modify ja models so they work properly in jedi outcast. I tried just putting the new model in put the appearence is way out of whack. Could one of you help me with my dilemma or perhaps direct to a tutorial that might help?

All comments are appreciated.

Thank ya,

Jack

Sorry mate, bringing JA models into JO is against the game's EULA. If you were to do so LEC is known to crack down on that kind of thing and the big level sites won't post your levels if they include resources from another game.

How about JO-models in JA? Is that also illegal?

No. Supposedly, Raven is ok with people using JO materials (such as textures) in JA.
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

If it is a model from JA, you cannot import it into JO. It's against the law. JO -> JA is legal though. They don't care about that, because most all of the models and textures are already in JA anyway.

If it is your own model, then you are allowed to do what you want with it.

There was a thread a while ago along the same lines as this, and if I remember correctly, it was said that Raven is alright with any of their material being converted into any of their other games (meaning, JA to JO would be fine, as well)

Not sure how accurate that is, but that's what I was told
