Would you ban someone if... (NOT related to Massassi members)
2003-12-13, 5:38 AM #1
As in the title, this is not related to people on Massassi, but rather involves people I know. My brother (Devin - 12 years: 1.5 months old -- supposedly has mental probs [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] ) kills windows by chucking marbles at them (true story). That was about 2 years ago before I registered on Massassi (which was in Late September/Early October this year).

Today, Devin has struck again with his annoying...uhhh..."attacks" on things other than himself. He and his friend tried to (and succeded in) handcuff my other brother's (Liam - 7 years: 9 months -- kinda annoying at times and hangs out with other more annoying kids) Strech Screamer toy by the hands with a combination lock! Would you ban someone if they did this kind of crap to you on Massassi? I probably would -- it would make the Temple unenjoyable for people, which is against the rules.

Admins and moderators: I am not trying to assuma any authority; I just want opinions on the subject.

I assume a Stretch Screamer is some toy or other that makes a loud noise when it's stretched (my brilliant logic in full effect). If so, I'd just get his friends parents to punish his friend until he gave up the combination [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
Of course, if it has a battery in it you could take that out...

Well, the toy could've been turned off.
But really...turning to handcuffing a toy with a lock to tick someone off is sad. I think Devin really hates Liam, since he does this kind of @#$% all the time.

I wouldn't go banning people until they start breaking the rules here on the forums. It might take five minutes, but everyone gets a chance.

Wait... kills windows? Are you talking about something else, or do you honestly think 'kill' is an acceptable synonym for 'break', 'shatter', or 'destroy'?
2003-12-13, 7:24 AM #11
"Kill" and "destroy" are suitable synonyms. Along with "destruction" and "victory."

Um.. is it really necessary to tell us how many months old they are? Like that really has anything to do with, well, anything.

And I really can't see how you could possibly link banning people from a message board to events your siblings do in real life. How could anyone do that to anyone else on a message board? And what exactly what would you ban them from in real life? It really doesn't make any sense.

Killing Windows is easy, you don't even need marbles. Just a keyboard and a- waite you don't even need a keyboard.

If you look closely at the forum rules there is actually a passage which deals specifically with handcuffing other member's toys with a combination lock.

Wait, is Liam exactly 7 years and 9 months? If so, Devin should not be banned in real life, but anything over 7 years, 9.0231267 months warrants a ban.
