Mutual respect.

I'm looking for a tool to keep a blog...

I have all these class notes that need arranging, and I really like the blog format(easy posting, clear hierarchy, nice design, etc...), but I want to post them OFFLINE.

Any programs able to post blogs to localhost html files or something?

Or any FREE programs that manage texts in hierarchies with a very clear structure, layout, ...??

Thanks y adios

Linux: Heck yeah. Just use a regular PHP or Perl blog running on 127.0.0.1, and dont forward port 80 at the router...

Windows: Sure, but not as easy.

Yeah... In Windows you do it in exactly the same way. Install PHP (and mySQL if needed) and run a webserver with apache or something.

This should help in getting Apache and PHP installed:

WAY to funky/complicated for my style, guys.

Anything else? (just a program, even non-blog will do)

CityDesk from fogcreek.com will do it, but it's not free [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] There IS a free trial you can try out, though.
